History of Wrap-On®
The Wrap-On® Company has been manufacturing electric Pipe Heating Cables, Roof and Gutter Cables and a variety of other winterization products for more than 50 years. Wrap-On® originally started as Poultry Equipment Engineers Inc. by Thomas C Russell, located in Chicago on Superior Street and manufactured chicken coop warmers. In 1972 the named changed to Wrap-On® Company and started making soil warming cables, which then expanded into making Pipe Heating cables and Roof and Gutter cables. In the years since, we have continually improved and updated our products to meet the changing needs of the consumer.
In the late 70’s, the Wrap-On® Company moved from Chicago to a manufacturing and warehousing facility in Bedford Park, a suburb of Chicago. Wrap-On® Company is a privately owned, financially stable company. We count many top distributors and retailers among our customers, and a number of prominent wholesale distributors throughout the United States and Canada.
With a complete catalog that includes Pipe Heating cable, Roof and Gutter cables, Self-Regulating cable, Fiberglass Insulation and a host of additional products.
Wrap-on® Company moved to a more modern facility in Alsip Illinois in early 2015 to expand operations to continue our outstanding quality and service for the ever changing marketplace.
